Takuro Osaka+ STUDIO PHOTON

Artist. Ph.D (Art Studies)

Born in Tokyo in 1948. 
He graduated from graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts.   
In the Cosmic Ray series, cosmic rays are transformed into light, and in the Lunar Project, huge mirrors are used to catch moonlight. These important works deal with the theme of the cosmos. From 2008 to 2014, I made plan of art experiment conducted by the astronauts in Kibo (an experiment module contributed to the International Space Station by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). I have been exhibiting art work in the main museum in Japan and Europe. I have also installed light works in the middle of cities and other public spaces. The Kobe newspaper company、Northern Funeral Hall Yokohama City, Ota Ward Government building Tokyo, Ryogoku Bridge Tokushima city.
